First you remove any and all negativity from your life. This includes removing negative thoughts, negative ways of coping, self-doubt & self-limitation. Once you decide you want to change, you are already changing. You acknowledge that what you are used to doing doesn’t work for you anymore. You acknowledge that you are aware of what you need in order to grow mentally. You acknowledge that you need to help yourself do things differently.

Change calls for honesty within yourself & the world around you. Once you are honest with yourself, changing these parts of yourself become easier. First one must think about why they because accustomed to the negativity within. Why do you have negative thoughts? Why do you have negative coping skills? Why do you doubt yourself? Why do you limit yourself? For me, I grew up being told I was this or that and because I was this or that I wasn’t a good child. From that point on, everything was negative in my eyes. I struggled with everything. I cried in secret more times than I smiled in public. I only knew negativity, therefore parts of my life were negative. It’s all I knew.

When I decided I needed to change my headspace, the universe tested me. It tested me because it needed to see if I really wanted to change and for what reason. When you change for yourself, everything is pure because it’s coming from your heart. When you want to change for something other than yourself, it’s a struggle because it’s not for your own happiness and alchemy. This isn’t a true desire to change. Change calls for honesty from within. Change calls for you to show up for yourself.

After you work through these first steps, you make room for what you want to learn differently and you give yourself the ability to understand why. You open yourself up to all the possibilities available for you. You start showing up for yourself in ways that once never seemed possible because of how you were used to living. This is how you start to see and learn what I call the True You.

The True You is everything that brings you joy and fulfillment as a whole the moment you experience it. It is no secret the world we live in is a mind control one. From the moment we were born, we’ve been told we have to act and live a certain way and if we didn’t we aren’t worthy of what this world has to offer you. Mind control.

Change doesn’t dictate what you pay attention to. Change dictates why you pay attention to something and how it affects you. Change sparks healing within and around you naturally.
